Writing about reading, drowning.

As I wrote on my writing blog, I’m currently drowning in books.

But unlike any other man or woman drowning in real life, going under water, swallowing it in their lungs, I am not scrambling for the surface. I am dipping my head into books and staying under. This is so much better than breathing.

  1. Books are awesome. I’m aching for something to read.

I wish we lived in the same city, Darc. We could have happily exchanged books and held a reading marathon!

  2. Inhaling books sounds like a perfect relaxing weekend!

Problem is, it is threatening to take over my week

  3. Sometimes book therapy is the best way to go.

I agree. But with so many interesting books around, it is becoming more of an addiction than therapy.
