I am feeling helpless and isolated. Writing is a thing of the past.
Reason?
I do not have broadband!

I have to sneak in time between potting plants and putting on cushion covers to rush down to the Coffee Bean across the road to do whatever little freelance writing work I can still do.
I have been approving comments and not replying to the ones so generously left on my blog, I apologize to each and every one of you who has commented in the past week or two.
Thanks for visiting, caring, and leaving those comments. Those really cheer me up!
I have been running from pillar to post doing all kinds of things these past two weeks, and the lack of broadband means that there is no late-night browsing or blogging. I did not know I will miss it so, but I do. And I miss each and every one of you:)
Here is to getting back on broadband by next week!

Dear Dee, I imagine how uncomfortable is lack of broadband for your job or your blog, but it’s happens. Few months ago I couldn’t use my computer , because it didn’t work for almost one month and I was driving crazy, because you feel isolated but I discovered many other things to do and one week flies away very quickly. We look
forward to hearing from you
a hug Ely
Thanks for posting. I’ve been worried something was wrong!
Fear not, my frazzled friend, for we will be here upon your return!
Thanks Ely, for your words here and also for the email you sent me. I will reply soon, I promise!
Kym, you are an absolute sweetheart for worrying about me….the only other person who worries when she does not hear from me is mum:)
Lofter, I am grateful, so grateful in fact that I am at yet another Coffee bean near my writing class replying to your comment. I AM frazzled, house not done up yet and got in laws coming for a visit this Monday….haaalp!
Here’s how you handle the in-laws… speaking from experience, of course. When they walk in the door, greet them warmly, share a moment of pleasant conversation, then hand them the list of chores they are expected to do before feeding time. They’ll give you a funny look, but if you hand them a broom, they’ll sweep!
Miss you! And amazing how dependent we’ve become on broadband, eh?
Hope the in-laws didn’t bother you too much. I know mine drive me batty at times. I love them… but mostly for my wife’s sake. Good people but I like them best in small doses.
We’ll be here.
